Gabrielle Jaycine Wilson Office Administrator:

Gabrielle Wilson is a Denver, Colorado native and a United States Army veteran. She currently serves as the administrative assistant at Inner City School and holds various degrees, including an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy. Gabrielle has a rich history of involvement in some of the oldest churches in Colorado, serving in various capacities.

Her deep love for the Lord Jesus Christ has guided her toward positions that involve servitude and self-sacrifice. Working at Inner City Christian School aligns with her sense of purpose and calling, and she finds great fulfillment in this role. Furthermore, Gabrielle is a proud mother to a four-year-old daughter who currently attends Inner City School, adding a personal connection to her dedication to the institution.

Adelaida De Claro Catalino, Kindergarten Teacher:

ADELAIDA DE CLARO CATALINO was born in Taal, Batangas, Philippines. She is a Foreign Exchange Teacher involved in a project between the United States of America and the Philippine Government wherein teachers from different countries can apply for a teaching position in the USA. Exchange Teachers are not only in the USA to teach, but also to share their cultural values and vice versa. Adelaida finished her Bachelor of Elementary Education degree at Rizal College of Taal, in 2002. During this time, she also taught preschool children at Our Lady of Caysasay Day Care Center. After graduating, her family moved to Taguig City, and she taught K-5th grade. In June 2006, she changed jobs and taught first grade at Upper Bicutan Elementary Public School for 16 years. During this time, she earned 27 units in Educational Management toward her master’s degree at Taguig City University. During her tenure at Upper Bicutan, she received a loyalty award. Adelaida moved to the United States and became a Foreign Exchange 6th grade teacher in White Sulphur Springs School in Meagher County Montana, USA.  Adelaida then applied for teaching position at Inner City School (ICS) in January 2023. Surely God intended her to teach at ICS because the school had been looking for a kindergarten teacher for a long time. Adelaida is married and a mother of 3 adult children and one grandson. She enjoys singing, dancing, and cooking. Adelaida is so grateful to Ms. Graham for the opportunity to teach at Inner City School.

Christine Madrid, Elementary Teacher:

Chris is the 2nd and 3rd-grade teacher at Inner City School. She has a B.S. in Bible and Christian Education from Houghton College and an M.A. in Elementary Education from Colorado College. She has taught for over thirty years in Christian schools in the Denver metro area. She has five children and a host of grandchildren. Besides teaching she enjoys studying the Bible, reading, cooking, playing tennis and pickle ball, and discovering yet unvisited places in Colorado with her husband Thom.

Angel Robinson Garrett, Office Administrator and Day Care Program Director:

Though a native of Denver, CO, Angel spent most of her childhood through young adulthood living in Pasadena, CA. She attended both the University of Colorado-Denver and UCLA.  Angel worked in the banking and finance industries prior to beginning a career first as a stay-at-home mom in 2005 and then as the head chef at a local childcare facility. When her son was in 2nd grade, she was looking for a Christian school that would teach him structure, build character, discipline, have small class sizes, and gives him the tools he needed to be successful. ICS provided all of these tools and then some. Little did she know that this was the Lord's way of changing her career yet again. In 2017 she received her Director's Certification and is continuing her education in ECE, and has been dubbed the “chef” for the staff. Angel is married and has one son. She enjoys her job, loves the staff, and kids. She is extremely grateful to work for ICS as the office administrator and Day Care Director.

The Inner City School staff are dedicated and loving individuals who care about the future of our children.

Carolyn truly enjoys being surrounded by such loving staff and a great bunch of eager students. She thanks God often for leading her to such a unique school.
