ICS SPIRIT WEEK September 25 – September 29, 2023
TRUST IN THE LORD – Proverbs 3:5,6
MONDAY PAJAMA & CRAZY HAIR DAY
Wear your favorite pajamas (a t-shirt and shorts are not acceptable unless it is a pajama set). Get creative with your hair it can be colored, spiked, and any funky hair do is permitted.
TUESDAY BOOK CHARACTER DAY
Dress as a book character (you must bring in the book that shows the character to get full points). There must be a visual illustration representing your character even in Bible stories. You may find and print pictures of your character to show along with the book. No characters of evil, witchcraft, no goosebumps, no harry potter, Be creative, use props as well!
WEDNESDAY ETHNIC CULTURE DAY
Dress up and represent your favorite ethnicity, culture or country from around the world. No jeans on this day. If you do not dress in a cultural outfit, please wear chapel dress on this day. Join us after school for our cultural day food fest!!
THURSDAY DECADES DAY
Let’s rock the 1920s! Go on the internet and get ideas. Glamour, Hollywood, Guys and dolls. Get creative!
FRIDAY SCHOOL COLOR DAY
Wear your purple and gold. Rock your hats, shoes, shirts and pants in purple and gold. Jeans are acceptable as well as school shirts. However, for more creativity think outside the box!!
Annual Cultural Open House
Please join ICS at the school on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 3:30 pm until 5:00pm. Each class will represent on continent in the world and the student families will prepare a dish that will represent a cultural dish from a region in that child's classroom assigned continent.
